Data Science & AI Intern (Final Year Students)

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (In‑Office / Onsite)
Internship Type: Full‑Time Internship (Physical presence required)
Duration: 10–12 Weeks (Aligned with academic semester/project)
Eligibility: Final‑year B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA students/B.Sc Data Science

As a Data Science & AI Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers, data scientists, and product teams on live business problems using modern AI technologies. This internship is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry‑ready skills, offering hands‑on exposure to Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI systems.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, in‑office engineering environment in our Bangalore office, contributing to real projects that influence customers, platforms, and products. Guided by Cotality’s Core Values, we aim to make your internship challenging, supportive, and genuinely rewarding.

What You’ll Do

As a Data Science & AI Intern, you will:

• Work on end‑to‑end data science and AI projects — from problem definition to experimentation and deployment
• Build, train, evaluate, and improve Machine Learning and Deep Learning models
• Assist in developing and optimizing Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions (LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI agents, copilots, etc.)
• Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, product, and business stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews, and design discussions.
• Document findings, create prototypes, and present insights to technical and non‑technical audiences
• Learn and apply software engineering best practices in a production environment

Education & Eligibility

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing final year of:
  • B.E / B.Tech (CS, IT, AI, Data Science, related fields)
  • M.Tech / MCA (Computer Science, Data Science or related disciplines)
• Completed relevant coursework in:
  • Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, AI, or similar areas
• Ability to commit to full‑time, on‑site internship in Bangalore
• Internship must be part of academic curriculum / final‑year project

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship, research project, or significant academic project in AI/ML
• Hands‑on experience with:
  • Python, SQL
  • ML/DL frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • LLMs, GenAI tools, LangChain, vector databases, or agent frameworks
• Exposure to Git, APIs, or basic cloud concepts
• Strong academic performance (preferred CGPA ≥ 3.0 / 4.0 or equivalent)

• This role is specifically designed for final‑year students
• Internship does not guarantee full‑time employment, though strong performers may be considered for future opportunities
• Stipend and internship details will be discussed during selection
