Intermediate Structural Engineer (Fixed Term 24 months)

The Opportunity

Undertake engineering tasks with limited supervision, producing quality outputs and contributing to efficient project delivery. Support coordination within the team and assist in guiding junior staff while continuing to develop technical and professional capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake engineering tasks with limited supervision

• Deliver work that meets project requirements, quality standards, and timelines

• Apply practical engineering knowledge to solve routine technical problems

• Coordinate assigned tasks and manage own workload effectively

• Communicate clearly on progress, issues, and risks

• Liaise with team members, including within a worksharing / global environment

• Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters where required

• Escalate more complex technical or project issues appropriately

• Contribute to team delivery through reliable and consistent performance

• Participate in ongoing learning and development

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (relevant discipline)

• 5–6 years of relevant engineering experience

• Fluent in English (written and verbal) is essential, with ability to communicate clearly in a professional environment

• Ability to work with limited supervision and manage own tasks effectively

• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills

• Experience working in team-based project environments

• Ability to support and guide junior team members

• Familiarity with relevant standards, tools, and processes (desirable)
