Job Description:

We are seeking an Intermediate Application Developer to support development and maintenance of Guidewire applications running in AWS. This role focuses on hands-on coding, defect resolution, and supporting cloud-based deployments under senior guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Development Support

  • Develop and maintain Guidewire components (Gosu, Rules, PCF screens, integrations).

  • Fix defects and implement minor enhancements.

  • Assist in integration builds and API development.

  • Participate in testing and documentation updates.

  • Support applications running in AWS (EC2, RDS, S3).

  • Monitor logs and assist in troubleshooting issues using CloudWatch.

  • Assist with deployment validation and environment checks.

DevOps & Collaboration

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline execution and troubleshooting.

  • Participate in code reviews and follow established standards.

  • Support production release activities.

  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of application development experience.

  • Working knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center.

  • Experience with Java/J2EE and SQL Server.

  • Basic understanding of AWS cloud-hosted applications.

  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
