Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.
We are seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and support financial reporting activities during a temporary engagement. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close and account reconciliation processes
- Supervise accounting staff and daily accounting operations
- Review journal entries and financial reports
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and reporting
- Support process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- ERP experience and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
