As an Interconnect Product Manager (f/m/d), you will lead the strategic, commercial, and technical direction of harness programs within the aerospace and defense sector. You will act as the business owner for assigned programs, ensuring long-term competitiveness, strong customer relationships, and profitable growth.

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers to drive flawless execution across the full program lifecycle - from proposal development through delivery and performance tracking.

Your impact will be measured by revenue growth, margin performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

About the Job:

  • Lead the harness business with key aerospace and defense customers to ensure sustainable growth and competitiveness.

  • Own revenue, profitability, and overall P&L performance of assigned programs.

  • Define program vision, objectives, and commercial targets aligned with business strategy.

  • Lead proposal development, including technical coordination, costing, and pricing strategy.

  • Develop negotiation strategies and support complex customer and supplier agreements.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, SCM, Logistics, Finance, Operations, Management) to ensure on-time delivery and KPI achievement.

  • Drive operational excellence by implementing standardized processes and optimizing workflows.

  • Ensure transparency through governance meetings, milestone tracking, and reliable reporting.

  • Conduct technical and financial analysis, including scenario modeling and risk mitigation planning.

  • Monitor schedule adherence, quality performance, supplier performance, and program risks throughout the lifecycle.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across program sites.

  • Provide product and market insights to development teams based on customer needs and industry trends.

  • Travel approximately 50%, primarily within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

About You:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Experience managing customized, customer-specific products, ideally harnesses or complex electromechanical systems.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams from opportunity stage through delivery.

  • Strong understanding of sales, engineering, supply chain, logistics, and controlling processes for engineered-to-order products.

  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and margin tracking (P&L exposure).

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to align technical and commercial stakeholders.

  • Fluent in German and English.

  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), ERP systems, and project management tools.

  • Familiarity with aerospace qualification standards (e.g., EN 9100, EASA Part 21G/145) is considered a strong asset.

  • Analytical and strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.

Littelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise. Our Core Values – Respect, Customer Focus, Agility, and Collaboration – support us on our mission to improve the safety, reliability, efficiency, and performance of our customers’ products and systems.
