What would you do? We are seeking a Capital Markets SME with 5–8 years of experience in Client Lifecycle Management (CLM), KYC, onboarding, compliance screening, and regulatory operations to provide domain expertise supporting institutional and corporate banking clients. The role will serve as the functional authority for onboarding, customer due diligence, screening investigations, tax documentation, and regulatory compliance activities while supporting complex cases, operational governance, and capability development initiatives.
What are we looking for? • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field preferred. • 5–8 years of experience in Client Lifecycle Management, KYC Operations, Onboarding, Financial Crime Compliance, or Capital Markets Operations. • Strong understanding of onboarding, KYC/CDD, EDD, sanctions screening, beneficial ownership reviews, and tax documentation processes. • Deep knowledge of FATCA, CRS, AML requirements, onboarding controls, and customer risk assessment methodologies. • Experience supporting coaching, training, calibrations, quality management, or process improvement activities. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Ability to communicate complex regulatory and operational concepts effectively to stakeholders. • Strong stakeholder management and governance capabilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CLM workflow platforms. Working Conditions ? The candidate must be flexible to work US, EMEA, APAC, or rotational shifts and be willing to extend shift hours during transitions, remediation programs, audit reviews, regulatory events, or critical business activities, as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities: •• Act as the subject matter expert for Client Lifecycle Management processes, including onboarding, KYC, account maintenance, tax documentation, and periodic review activities. • Support the review and resolution of the most complex or high-risk onboarding, due diligence, and remediation cases. • Provide expert guidance to analysts and team leaders on regulatory requirements, ownership structures, documentation standards, and risk assessment methodologies. • Interpret client procedures, KYC policies, AML requirements, and regulatory guidelines to ensure consistent operational decision-making. • Support Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews involving complex ownership structures, higher-risk customer profiles, and regulatory escalations. • Partner with Quality, Training, Compliance, and Process Excellence teams to support calibrations, error analysis, process updates, and capability-building initiatives. • Analyze operational trends, root causes, and recurring defects to identify control gaps and recommend process improvements. • Support transitions, regulatory remediation programs, audit reviews, and change initiatives by validating procedures and ensuring operational readiness. • Prepare domain insights, onboarding trends, quality observations, and compliance recommendations for leadership and client stakeholders. • Drive adherence to SLA, quality, compliance, and control expectations while supporting audit-ready documentation and standardized case handling practices.
