Position Summary:

  • Selling Personal Lines of Insurance with 17 carriers & over 30 states
  • Under close supervision, closes targeted number of sales from leads, prospects and policyholders to achieve auto, property, and specialty sales targets in a sales center environment.
  • Building relationships with consumers while soliciting leads (provided by us).

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to leads, consult with customers on their insurance needs and match the correct coverages, products and benefits to convert leads into customers. We provide all of your leads.
  • Assesses customer’s insurance needs and suggest/advise products and coverage’s based on a need/exposure assessment. Conducts need/exposure assessments involves interviewing prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of their person or property to be insured, claims history and coverage gaps..
  • Finalizes the sale, coordinates collection of deposits, arranges for binders and certificates, and briefs the service team on the policy sale.
  • Maintains a concern for accuracy, timeliness and completion when interacting with current and prospective clients.
  • Maintains understanding and knowledge of insurance and underwriting criteria for insurance company partners represented by the firm to effectively communicate to all involved.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • We will consider a variety of experiences to include current licensed agents, restaurant, car sales, phone sales, or any customer facing position that requires strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable making calls and talking to people on the phone all day!!
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Eager to expand company with new sales
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
  • ·Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred

  • Must be available to work Monday-Friday 8-5 and one Saturday per month 9-1
