Instructional design responsibilities involve analysis of content, target audience, job tasks, and learner environment to identify appropriate instructional strategies and define learning objectives followed by creation of tools and materials for conducting concept training workshops, including scenario-based product training workbooks for hands-on instruction

• Experience with needs assessment, task/content analysis, design documents, establishing learning objectives, and evaluation strategies

• Design and development of instructional strategies that meet the needs of adult learners in the classroom, on-site and/or in a web-based training environment

• Partner with Technical Trainers, Technical Support Engineers and Manager on the implementation and evaluation of instructional materials. Produce blended learning interventions such as self-placed, web, CBT, and distance learning Deliverables may include facilitators’ guides, job aids, and content for self-study courses (CBT/video/web based tutorials)

• Effective communication and organizational skills for managing projects from start to delivery is essential

• Use of superior storyboarding skills to precisely communicate instructional strategies to development team members

• Manage multiple projects, changing requirements and changing timelines while delivering first-rate learning solutions

• Continually increase knowledge and state of current industry knowledge, learning technologies, and learning best practices

• Willingness to maintain knowledge of current and new products, services and company organization and processes

• Evolve standardized methods, processes, and templates
