Te Tūranga – About The Role

We’re looking for a commercially astute Insights Partner to lead the insights strategy and execution for Gilmours. Sitting within our Procurement & Insights team, you’ll be the go-to advisor for turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive performance across our foodservice business.

  • Lead the Gilmours insights programme, delivering high-impact analytics and scalable reporting frameworks
  • Partner with Gilmours stores and the Wholesale Leadership Team to influence strategic decisions
  • Champion AI-driven insights and embed a data-led culture across the network
  • Design and build world-class dashboards using tools like Power BI
  • Drive cross-functional alignment through enterprise-wide data initiatives

What You’ll Bring

You’re a curious, solutions-focused data leader who knows how to connect insights to business outcomes. With a strong technical toolkit and a knack for storytelling, you’re ready to shape the future of foodservice through data.

  • Proven experience in commercial insights, analytics or strategy roles, ideally in FMCG, Foodservice or Retail
  • Advanced skills in data visualisation (Power BI, Tableau) and analytics tools (Python, R, SQL)
  • Strong understanding of data governance, modelling and cloud platforms
  • Excellent communicator who can translate technical data into business language
  • Collaborative, innovative and passionate about capability uplift and continuous improvement
