Infrastructure Operations & Management Manager

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an Infrastructure Operations & Management Manager for one of our partners, a leading Digital Bank!

Job Summary

The Infrastructure Operations & Management Manager is responsible for the provisioning, operation, and resilience of the Bank's core infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and data centers. This role ensures that staging, production, and testing environments are reliably hosted and available, and that the Bank's disaster recovery and backup capabilities meet business continuity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage staging, production, and data center environments, including hosting of testing environments for systems under development.
• Own the hosting, management, and operation of the Bank's data centers.
• Operate and maintain core infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, storage, and networks.
• Manage and operate storage and backup systems, ensuring data integrity and recoverability.
• Ensure availability, resilience, and capacity planning across all environments to meet current and future business needs.
• Own backup execution, recovery readiness, and disaster recovery (DR) capabilities, including regular DR testing.
• Manage infrastructure patching, capacity upgrades, and lifecycle management of hardware and systems.
• Coordinate with security teams to ensure infrastructure hardening and compliance with banking regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with data center, hosting, and infrastructure vendors, including budget and contract oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure operations or data center management, ideally within banking or financial services.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of servers, operating systems, storage, backup, and networking technologies.
• Experience with data center operations, including on-prem, hybrid, and/or cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) principles.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and infrastructure capacity planning.
• Familiarity with regulatory and audit requirements applicable to banking infrastructure.
• Strong leadership and vendor management skills.
