Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the deployment and management of sustainable blockchain infrastructures across Substrate, Ethereum, Cosmos, and Solana ecosystems.
• Deploy Web2 applications focusing on energy efficiency using technologies like NodeJS, React, and NextJS.
• Administer scripts effectively in bash, ansible, and TypeScript to enhance operational efficiency and resilience.
• Utilize version control systems such as git and compile projects using Rust, GoLang, and C++, ensuring robust and secure software delivery.
• Manage virtual machine environments, preferably with Proxmox, to align with our sustainability commitments.
• Implement and manage advanced monitoring tools for maintaining high availability and compliance with Tier 5 uptime and SOC 2 standards.
• Provide expert-level support for critical infrastructure issues, ensuring smooth operations across our decentralized global network.
• Collaborate across functions, linking software development and hardware infrastructure to support seamless integration and sustainability of our Web3 solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: At least 5 years in system administration with a significant focus on Web2, and a minimum of 2 years in the Web3 sector, particularly in roles emphasizing environmental sustainability.
• Deep expertise in deploying blockchain technologies and managing VM environments like Proxmox, with a focus on energy efficiency.
• Profound knowledge of Linux system administration and sustainable practices.
• Advanced skills in monitoring systems and strategies, particularly those minimizing environmental impact.
