Job Details

Title: Infrastructure Architect
Location: Chicago,IL
Contract: Contract to Hire
Duration: 6 months +
Rate: DOE

Desired Skills:
Bachelors degree or higher in IT, computer science, or other technical related field
• 10+ years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles including:
o At least 1 recent role in an architect level role working hands on with IT infrastructure including most of the following:
 x86 hardware
 VMWare
 EMC storage technologies
 LAN
 WAN
 Load Balancing
 DNS
 Active Directory
 Firewalls
o Hands on Administration experience in both Linux and Windows-based systems in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
o Experience building sophisticated and complex solutions
• Architecting in a highly virtualized environment
• Architecting in a highly outsourced environment
• Experience architecting in and with AWS services
• Basic understanding of Mainframe, AS400, & Tandem
• Hands-on technical practitioner and individual contributor
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
