Information Technology Intern

<p>The purpose of this internship position, while under the direction of IT staff, is to support organization technology needs and develop practical technical skills in the IT field.&nbsp;</p><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li>Alongside IT staff, you will assist with daily technical operations and support activities.</li><li>Gain hands-on experience in an enterprise IT environment.</li><li>Throughout your internship you will be exposed to technical support, hardware and software troubleshooting, network operations, cybersecurity practices and IT administration.</li><li>With staff support, respond to questions and requests regarding computer-related problems via telephone, e-mail, and personal contact; logs questions and requests regarding computer-related problems via call tracking software.</li><li>Performs related work as assigned.</li></ul><p>Must be a currently enrolled student in a high school or college-level program.&nbsp;</p><undefined><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment. Employment is contingent upon clearing both the drug screening and background investigation.</span><br></undefined>
