Information Security (GRC) Consultant

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Information Security Consultant to join our Cyber Security Advisory Department. This role will contribute as part of the Compliance & Risk Services Team on the provision of consulting services to Clients, either on Client’s premises or on-demand, related to information security governance, risk management, adoption of security standards and raising employee’s information security awareness. 

Main Responsibilities

Working under the supervision of the CRS Manager and the Project Leader for: 

• Implementing and operating Cyber Security strategies for our clients based on international standards and regulatory frameworks (i.e. Information Security and Privacy Policies, Procedures, Guidelines and Technical Standards) 
• Assessing information security risks and compliance gaps (Gap Analysis, IT Risk Assessment, Business Impact Assessment, etc., based on well-known methodologies) 
• Preparing and implementing information security awareness programs 
• Providing guidance to our clients on a daily basis for information security and compliance related issues 
• Preparing reports and deliverables for our clients. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar and ideally Master’s Degree or training in the field of Information Security 
• Ideally 1 to 3 years of working experience in similar positions or in the information security sector in general or master’s degree in Information Security 
• Understanding of: Information security frameworks standards and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, NIS) for various sectors (IT, Banking, Maritime, etc.) , IT and network security, Technical vulnerabilities of information systems (hardware, system, application level) 

Preferred  

·        ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer Certification 

·        Knowledge of ITIL best practices and ISO standards, e.g. ISO 9001, 20000, 22301, etc. 

·        Experience in Project Management
