About the role
Kaimetrix is seeking an Information Assurance / Security Specialist – Level III to support the implementation and maintenance of security measures protecting enterprise systems and data in a secure, mission-critical environment. This role performs system and network assessments, evaluates security effectiveness, and contributes to vulnerability management and incident response efforts.
What you'll do
- Perform assessments of systems and networks within the enterprise environment to evaluate security posture
- Identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policies, and local security requirements
- Measure the effectiveness of defense-in-depth security architecture against known vulnerabilities
- Participate in incident response activities to support detection, containment, and remediation of security events
- Support vulnerability management efforts, including identification, tracking, and mitigation of system weaknesses
- Assist in maintaining and improving security controls to protect organizational systems and data
- Ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or related roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Certifications:
- CompTIA CASP+,(ISC)² CISSP, or ISACA CISM
Clearance:
- Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain
