Your Role as an Infection Preventionist

As the Infection Preventionist, you will take the lead in safeguarding the health of our residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention and control programs.
• Conducting regular infection surveillance, tracking, and reporting.
• Educating staff, residents, and families on infection prevention best practices.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to infection control.
• Collaborating with clinical teams to promote a safe and healthy environment.
• Investigating outbreaks and implementing corrective measures when necessary.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California.
• Experience: Infection prevention/control experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills with an attention to detail.
• Passion: A commitment to ensuring the health and safety of residents and staff.
