The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Hygienist with a strong background in military or government settings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting comprehensive industrial hygiene surveys, workplace exposure assessments, and managing industrial hygiene programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute industrial hygiene and employee exposure monitoring programs
  • Conduct comprehensive workplace exposure assessments in various environments including research laboratories,
  • industrial facilities, and health care settings
  • Perform personal exposure monitoring for airborne contaminants and noise
  • Conduct indoor air quality investigations
  • Provide industrial hygiene consultation in response to adverse events
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing controls and make recommendations for PPE, respiratory protection, and medical
  • surveillance programs
  • Evaluate test plans for experimental projects to identify health hazards
  • Train and provide technical supervision to junior industrial hygienists and technicians

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in industrial hygiene, preferably in military or government settings
  • knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards
  • Experience with industrial ventilation systems, radiation safety, and hazardous materials
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have a Secret Clearance.

Desired:

  • Certifications such as CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist)
  • Experience with CBRNE operations
  • Previous experience working for a Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC)

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.
 

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:

$28.90
