ABOUT CMAAS: Capital Market and Accounting Advisory Services is a dedicated global team of professionals that provides high-value advisory services under IFRS, Indian GAAP and Ind AS along with capital markets services. Role Summary We are seeking a Zuora Revenue Recognition Consultant with hands-on experience supporting Zuora Revenue Recognition implementations and production environments. The consultant will assist with configuration, data preparation, testing, issue resolution, release support, and revenue reporting activities. The role requires working knowledge of Zuora Revenue Recognition processes, basic understanding of revenue recognition concepts, and exposure to integrations with CRM and ERP applications.

Responsibilities:

• Support Zuora Revenue Recognition implementation and enhancement activities under the guidance of senior team members. • Assist in requirements gathering workshops and help document business and functional requirements. • Perform configuration updates in Zuora Revenue Recognition based on approved designs. • Support data preparation, data mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities. • Assist in preparing and executing test scenarios for unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing. • Log, track, and help resolve defects identified during testing and implementation phases. • Support deployment activities, release validation, cutover tasks, and post-go-live support. • Provide production support by analyzing incidents, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with senior consultants or technical teams for resolution. • Assist with bug fixes, enhancement requests, and new feature intake. • Support quarterly, half-yearly, and scheduled release activities. • Apply basic understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 concepts when supporting revenue recognition processes. • Assist in validating data flows between Zuora Revenue Recognition, CRM applications, and ERP applications. • Help investigate interface issues, reconciliation gaps, and data quality issues across integrated systems. • Support Zuora Revenue Analytics reporting activities, including report validation, data checks, and basic dashboard/report updates. • Maintain documentation such as configuration notes, test scripts, issue logs, release notes, and support guides.

Mandatory skill sets: • 4–6 years of experience in revenue recognition systems, finance systems, or enterprise application implementation/support. • Hands-on or strong support experience with Zuora Revenue Recognition. • Working knowledge of Zuora Revenue Recognition configuration and business processes. • Ability to work collaboratively with Finance, Revenue Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders. • Exposure to implementation lifecycle activities such as requirements documentation, configuration support, data preparation, testing, defect tracking, and release support. • Experience supporting production environments, including incident analysis, issue tracking, and coordination for resolution. • Basic understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards. • Exposure to integrations between Zuora Revenue Recognition, CRM applications, and ERP applications. • Experience with data validation, reconciliation, integration testing, and issue analysis. • Working knowledge of Zuora Revenue Analytics for reporting and analytics support. • Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred skill sets: • Experience supporting month-end or quarter-end revenue accounting activities. • Exposure to financial controls or SOX-compliant environments. • Basic knowledge of SQL or reporting/data analysis tools is a plus. • Zuora Revenue Recognition training or certification is preferred.
