Apply to this jobBeing responsible at system level for sensors performances, data processing and diagnostic of the IMU related signals from Customers requirement elicitation to system function verification through the complete V-cycle. The role may be extended including in the scope crash sensing. The position is part of the Platform development team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Collect and analyze Customers requirements interfacing the internal application teams and Customers
•Understand and document signals “users” needs and constraints
•Derive and define sensor requirements interfacing the internal “sensor development team” and Suppliers
•Support and guide the sensor development team on Functional Safety related topics
•Define system level implementation requirements for sensors integration
•Define component and system level testing considering vehicle level use cases and misuses
•Review and approve component level testing and characterization results
•Review and approve system level testing and characterization results
•Define module interface document documenting vehicle level requirements and expected external plausibility checks to be implemented in the “user” modules
•Define product manufacturing test requirements and provide feedback to the design to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the testing in the plant •Support IMU related troubleshooting issues in development and in field
