Position Summary:

Maintain knowledge on all rules and regulations of import processes and ensure efficient transmission of all import goods, prepare and complete all purchase orders, ensure and maintain the accuracy of records for importation files.

Job Scope:

  1. Import Documentation and Accreditation
  2. Import Processing
  3. Customs laws, rules and regulations
  4. SAP Transactions

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Under the Supervision of the Importation Supervisor on the following tasks:
  2. Compute Estimated Landed Cost for every product/requirement from Sales Team.
  3. Coordinate with Audit/Accounting/Treasury for the payment of international trade transaction and also the BOC duties and taxes.
  4. Check and endorse for approval the payment to suppliers based on the commercial invoice and payment terms.
  5. Prepare documents for DA/DP Sight payment terms for bank requirements.
  6. Apply for Import Permit from BAI/BPI on all raw materials prior vessel departure on the country of origin.
  7. Coordinate with the broker/ trucker on the delivery schedule.
  8. Apply/ Renew accreditation with Bureau of Plants & Industry.
  9. Renew accreditation with Bureau of Customs- Importer’s Accreditation.
  10. Update Management regarding new requirements/permits for Importation.
  11.  Evaluate broker’s performance.

 

Education:   Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration

Years of Related Work Experience:                                                              

Two (2) to Three (3) years working experience of the same or related function
