Job Description
The Immigration Services team supports large international companies and their employees on visa and immigration requirements. As a team member, you:
Give advice to clients regarding which permits are required to legally work and reside in the Netherlands. In particular, by using the Foreign Nationals Employment Act, the Aliens Act and European legislation.
Support various clients to manage and coordinate their global immigration population.
Advise internationally oriented companies at corporate level on the design of immigration (global) programs, policy and processes with the aim of gaining control over immigration processes and thus full immigration compliance for all forms of international labor mobility.
Support the immigration team in obtaining the necessary visas, work and residence permits for international employees of our clients. You are responsible for various clients where you will work both independently and together with other (senior) associates.
Providing advice on the correct immigration procedure, prepare applications, maintain our case management database accurately, plan and coordinate appointments with various authorities, such as the IND, Expat Centers, banks and municipalities.
All this results in a varied working day with plenty of opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills.
Qualifications
You are an energetic person who is eager to learn. You work very well in a team but can also take on the responsibility for your own workload. You handle yourself well under pressure and strict deadlines and you put the employee and client experience as your top priority. You want to get the best out of yourself and your colleagues, build relationships, grow and make an impact. You have a sparkling and firm personality, and you have excellent communication skills. You also possess the following competencies:
You have a completed Bachelor or Master education (preferably in a legal direction).
You master the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
Experience in the field of immigration is an advantage, but not necessary.
You are a star in organizing your work and very precise in its execution.
An interest in digital upskilling and openness to learning new tools and ways of working.
You work well with teams across the global in other cultures.
Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
