JOB DESCRIPTION

Imaging Services is responsible for the overall operation or support of multiple sub-functional service areas to ensure an environment that supports the quality of services offered as an essential and integral to patient care. Includes basic support roles as well as position-leading and managing multiple sub-functions. Develops, implements and manages radiation safety programs, policies and procedures, including screening, access controls and staff training.

People Leader - Managerial - Work is primarily achieved through others with direct accountability for setting direction and deploying resources. Responsible for leading people including conducting performance management, reviewing pay, and typically making employment decisions. Accountable for business or operational processes and/or program management. Utilizes business acumen and industry or discipline knowledge to directly or indirectly influence others. Manages a team of two or more individuals who deliver work product related to an expected core competency of the leadership role.

Ensures department(s) operates within practice standards and meet minimum standards of American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Ohio Department of Health (ODH), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and other regulatory agencies, i.e., American College of Radiology (ACR), Joint Commission (JC), Ohio Department of Health (ODH).

 Practices within the Medical Center's policies and procedures.  Adheres to the Intensive Caring Value statements as demonstrated through positive patient/guest relations, positive and effective interactions with staff, and formulating and meeting developmental goals. 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Science or related field of study. Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Imaging Technologist. Preferred experience in Theranostics.
