About the job

We are looking for an experienced ICT Data and Information Management Architect to support an EU Agency in the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data architectures. The role focuses on data governance, modern data platforms, and advanced analytics in a complex and secure environment.

Location: On-site Warsaw (hybrid).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise-level data and information architectures
• Define data governance standards and best practices
• Design data warehouses, Big Data platforms, and BI solutions
• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into architecture solutions
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of data platforms
• Contribute to system design, testing, and continuous improvement
• Lead technical discussions and support development teams
• Produce documentation and present architecture solutions

Profile requirements

• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including 5 years in a similar role
• Master’s degree or equivalent (Level 7)
• Strong expertise in:
• Data architecture and data governance
• Big Data and modern data warehouse solutions
• SQL and NoSQL databases
• BI and data visualisation tools
• Good knowledge of cloud data platforms and integration patterns
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and ITIL practices
• Experience with modelling tools (e.g. Sparx EA, Aris)
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
• English level B2 minimum
• Security clearance (EU RESTRICTED) required

Desired Assets

• Certifications such as:
• Iasa CITA-A
• CDP Data Engineer / Analyst
• Microsoft Azure Data Analyst Associate
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Kafka or similar
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
• Understanding of AI Act implications
• Experience with ArchiMate modelling
