IC4 - Senior Content Designer

About the role

At SPIN, we’re looking for a Senior Content Designer to lead and scale best practices in product content. This person will play a key role in shaping our content strategy, defining and evolving our brand voice and tone, and ensuring a seamless, inclusive, and user-centered experience across all touchpoints.

You’ll be responsible for creating clear, accessible, and impactful copy for our digital products (apps, websites, communications), helping users navigate, understand, and complete key tasks. You'll work side-by-side with product designers, researchers, developers, and product managers to build intuitive experiences that not only meet user needs—but also drive behavior change and generate value for the business.

This is a strategic and hands-on role where your words will shape how millions of people interact with SPIN every day.

What you'll do

• Lead the adoption of UX writing best practices across teams.

• Create complex content that adapts to user needs, tasks, and cultural context.

• Define and evolve SPIN’s content strategy, voice, and tone guidelines.

• Design content that enhances usability, accessibility, and inclusivity.

• Write UX copy and microcopy for apps, websites, and digital flows.

• Ensure brand voice consistency across all product and service experiences.

• Mentor junior content designers, acting as a go-to person within the team.

• Identify opportunities for user research and content testing.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to ensure high-quality delivery.

• Align content with behavioral goals that drive business impact.

• Partner closely with developers to ensure copy is well-implemented and localized.

• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and collaboration across disciplines.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or similar roles.

• Preferred candidates will have prior experience in a senior-level content design position. 

• Deep understanding of human-centered design methodologies.

• Expertise in information architecture and content strategy.

• Mastery of brand voice, tone, and personality creation/upkeep.

• Excellent written communication, grammar, and storytelling skills.

• Strong experience writing copy and microcopy in product environments.

• Experience with content testing and accessibility best practices.

• Critical thinking, systems thinking, and strategic mindset.

• High attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.

• Empathy, proactiveness, and a collaborative spirit.

• Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting to change.

• Willingness to learn about our tech stack (React, React Native, Firebase, etc.) to better understand the product context.

This position is remote, the ideal candidate will be located in Mexico.
