Hyundai Journeyman Technician (Union)

Berman Hyundai is seeking an experienced Hyundai Journeyman Technician (Union - Local 701) to join our growing service team. If you take pride in delivering quality repairs, diagnosing complex vehicle concerns, and providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!

Pay: $45.15 per flat rate hour (Based on experience & certifications)
Location: Lincolnwood, IL

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards
• Accurately diagnose electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Utilize Hyundai diagnostic equipment, service information, and special tools
• Document repair orders thoroughly and accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians
• Stay current with Hyundai training and technical service bulletins

• ASE Certified
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical duties of an automotive technician.
