HVAC/Refrigeration Preventive Maintenance Technician

Job Opportunity: HVAC/Refrigeration Preventive Maintenance Technician.

RWC is looking for a highly motivated HVAC/Refrigeration Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our team based in Houston, TX.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Clean various commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including rooftop units, walk-in coolers and freezers, display cases, and ice machines.
- Change filters as needed and reorder filter stock.
- Inspect equipment for unusual noises and visible issues, then report findings to the service manager.
- Create a ticket for all preventive maintenance (PM) services for commercial contract accounts. Communicate with the office if you need tickets, job numbers, or assistance with documentation.
- Obtain customer signatures using the company-provided tablet or traditional paperwork.
- Assist other technicians on job sites as required. 

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively with others, including technicians and tradespeople.

- Self-motivated with strong multitasking, organizational, and detail-oriented abilities.

- Capability to handle difficult customers.

- Ability to concentrate and perform well under pressure.
