TITLE- Fire Service Technician: Commercial Marine

Location – Mumbai

What you will do

• Hands on Diagnose and rectification of defects in Addressable and Conventional Fire Detection systems onboard ships.
• Execute retrofit and commissioning activities for AFDS
• Perform annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for AFDS.
• Troubleshoot software issues within control panels, including program changes, upload/download.

How you will do it

• Interpret manuals, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings for troubleshooting.
• Apply control philosophy knowledge to implement retrofit solutions.
• Analyze onboard logbook data to identify and resolve system defects.
• Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and operational excellence.

What we look for

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering

• Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on service experience in AFDS
   

Required

• Expertise in trouble shooting Addressable & Conventional  Fire Detection Systems like Tyco/Siemens/Notifier/Optronic/Consolieum etc

• Good communication and report-writing abilities.
• Willingness to travel across Indian ports.

Preferred

• Experience of Commercial Marine conventional/addressable fire detection systems
