This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: The Madison Club in La Quinta, California.
The Madison Club is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join the HR Department.

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Specialist will help The Madison by facilitating efficient HR operations by managing employee records, coordinating recruitment processes, providing administrative support and assisting with staff training.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with employee onboarding, new hire coordination, and off-boarding.

  • Maintain HRIS, employee files, and internal company tools with accurate employee information.

  • Facilitate employee and management training programs.

  • Respond in a timely manner to employee questions and requests related to HR functions including on-boarding, benefits, employment, and payroll.

  • Assist Sr. HR Manager with employee relations investigations.

  • Support various HR and recruiting projects as needed, including but not limited to updating the applicant tracking system with candidate status.

  • Manage employee housing process (beginning and ending walkthroughs)

  • Assist with other HR projects as needed and requested by the Senior HR Manager, GM, or Project President.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is highly desirable, though comparable work experience will be considered.

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.

  • Bilingual in Spanish required

  • Experience with MS Office suite.

  • HRIS Experience; Workday experience desired.

  • Recruiting / Talent Acquisition experience a plus.

The Company’s good faith estimate of the salary rate expected to pay for this role is $33 - $35 hourly and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
