As we expand across Asia, we’re looking for a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to help build an agile, high-performing organization that inspires, empowers, and delivers impact.

The Opportunity

You’ll serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders—linking people strategy with business goals.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys partnering with leadership, developing talent, and shaping a values-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic People Partnering

  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic goals and translate them into HR initiatives.
  • Use data insights to improve productivity, engagement, and retention.
  • Participate in business reviews and provide actionable HR recommendations.

2. Talent & Performance Management

  • Lead annual performance review cycles—goal setting, calibration, and feedback.
  • Drive talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership-development initiatives.
  • Coach managers on performance, feedback, and people development.

3. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Champion Travelog’s core values through engagement and recognition programs.
  • Design internal communication campaigns that build trust and belonging.
  • Conduct engagement surveys and lead follow-up action plans.

4. Organizational Development & Capability Building

  • Partner with L&D to deliver impactful learning programs.
  • Identify competency gaps and create targeted training roadmaps.
  • Support HRDC submissions, budgeting, and training ROI tracking.

5. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian labour law and company policy.
  • Support workforce planning, employee mobility, and offboarding.
  • Maintain HR analytics dashboards to measure people and performance KPIs.

Requirements

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Psychology, or Business Administration. Professional certifications (HRDC, SHRM, CIPD) are a plus.
  2. Experience: Minimal5 years in HR, including 2+ years in HRBP or business-facing roles. Experience in fast-growth or service industries preferred.
  3. Language: Strong command of both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  4. Skill: Strong stakeholder management, data literacy, coaching ability, and business acumen.
  5. Personality: Strategic thinker, empathetic communicator, confident influencer, and culture champion.
  6. Culture Fit: Embodies Integrity × Mindfulness × Positivity. Thrives in collaborative, growth-driven teams.

Benefits

Why Join Us

  • Shape the people strategy of one of Malaysia’s fastest-growing travel brands.
  • Work directly with visionary founders and senior leadership.
  • Drive organizational impact, not just HR processes.
  • Enjoy a learning-oriented culture with HRDC-funded development programs and regional exposure.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: RM 8,000 – RM 12,000 per month (based on experience)
  • Annual performance bonus & increment
  • Training & certification sponsorship
