<div style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0; text-align: center"><strong>Human Resources Business Consultant</strong></div><p style="font-style: normal; margin: 0 0 8pt; color: inherit; text-indent: 0; text-align: center">The Department of Administration's <span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: center; text-indent: 0">Division of State Human Resources </span>(DSHR) <span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">works with agency customers to provide guidance on HR-related matters, delivering resources that encourage effective workforce planning and organizational development and overseeing the state’s Alternative Dispute Resolution process. </span><span style="color: inherit">The South Carolina Division of State Human Resources is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Consultant to assist in developing and carrying out human resource policies, programs, and procedures at the statewide level. This position will serve as a senior-level advisor to assigned state government agency partners, helping navigate complex workforce issues and align HR strategies to organizational and business goals.</span></p><p style="font-style: normal; margin: 0 0 8pt; color: inherit; text-indent: 0; text-align: center">This position is onsite in Columbia, SC. </p><strong><u>Responsibilities of the Human Resources Business Consultant:</u></strong><ul><li><span style="color: inherit">Consult and collaborate with agency partners to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to achieve desired results.</span></li><li><span style="color: inherit"><span style="color: inherit">Advise on classification, compensation, recruitment, training, time and leave, employee relations, workforce planning, organizational development, workflow, operations, and change management.</span></span></li><li><span style="color: inherit"><span style="color: inherit"><span style="color: inherit">Review and approve non-delegated classification and compensation actions.</span></span></span></li><li><span style="color: inherit"><span style="color: inherit"><span style="color: inherit"><span style="color: inherit">Help assigned agencies mitigate potential risks and comply with federal and state employment laws, HR regulations, and best practices.</span></span></span></span></li><li><span style="color: inherit"><span style="color: inherit"><span style="color: inherit"><span style="color: inherit"><span style="color: inherit">Facilitate formal training sessions on human resources topics to state agency staff and management, as assigned or by request.
