We are committed to fostering public trust, enhancing economic growth, and maximizing revenue collection to support essential services that benefit all citizens of Louisiana.</p><p>We’re looking for a <strong>Human Resources Analyst </strong>to join our <strong>Human Resources Division!</strong> </p><p>In this advanced-level professional role, you'll be responsible for a wide range of administrative and operational functions that support the day-to-day success of our Human Resources Division. Responsibilities include payroll processing, employee administration, records management and office operations.</p><p>This position also serves as the primary point of contact for the Human Resources Division, welcoming employees and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll provide administrative support that ensures the Welcome Desk, Front Office, and Human Resources Division operate smoothly and efficiently.</p><p>An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:</p><ul type="disc" style="margin-bottom: 3pt"><li><strong>Communicating Effectively:</strong> The ability to convey information, ideas, and emotions using structured communication methods that promote understanding and engagement.</li><li><strong>Following Policies and Procedures:</strong> The ability to follow, reinforce, adapt, or develop policies and procedures to maintain compliance with federal and state legal requirements, State Civil Service rules, and organizational policies.</li><li><strong>Using Data:</strong> The ability to collect, analyze, and use data to generate insights and inform decisions.</li><li><strong>Managing Time:</strong> The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and allocate time to ensure timely completion of work goals.</li></ul><div><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">Three years of human resources experience; OR</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">A bachelor’s degree.</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:</span><br style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. Identify discrepancies and communicates findings to the appropriate Time Administrator for resolution.</li><li style="margin: 0; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)">Perform functions in support of the Human Resources Division. </li><li style="margin: 0; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)">Respond to internal calls and emails in the Human Resources Division and disseminates them to appropriate staff members.</li><li style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)">Assist the human resources staff, during peak workloads, by performing various functions including but not limited to sorting personnel actions for distribution.</li><li style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)">Assist staff with a variety of administrative tasks for large or rush projects.</li><li style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)">Serve as HR Safety and Loss Prevention Warden by monitoring fire drills, building maintenance, hazard situations, etc. in compliance with ORM requirements.</li><li style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1)">Responsible for establishing, managing and maintaining the standardized filing system for the Human Resources records management program.
