What You Will Do:

·         Subject matter expert on manufacturing processes including: equipment, floor layouts, work sequence, work instructions, procedures, and work flow 

·         Develop and improve standard work

·         Identify process improvements opportunities using analysis, modeling, benchmarking, research, etc.

·         Design layouts of equipment and workspace and improving process flow

·         Conduct studies on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory, and production record systems 

·         Provide measurable input into the sequence of operations and work instructions

·         Contribute to plans for allocation of resources, materials, and personnel to establish maximum utilization

·         Study product requirements and determine capital equipment and labor staffing to meet requirements.

·         Ability to work effectively with other engineers, technicians, operators, and management

·         Conduct machine capacity analysis and identify/manage improvement initiatives to increase efficiency (OEE).

·         Understanding of capital acquisition process – knowledge or background preferred

·         Working knowledge of product manufacturing / process technologies

·         Participating in and leading Kaizen events

·         Self-starter and able to work with minimal direction

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations.
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Data mining & manipulation experience with Excel, VBA, SQL, other methods.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
