HSE Intern (Health, Safety & Environment)

ERM is looking for an intern willing to join our Italian Branch in Milan and to work in our Health and Safety Team.

The team works with multi-national corporate companies that work in different fields and the services provided by the team include EHS strategy, designing and implementing EHS management systems, compliance management support and delivering audit programs, and covering the breadth of the environment through to health and safety disciplines.

In particular, the person will support the team in:

• Support on the performance of compliance and technical audits, awareness raising, training programs, and hazard and risk identification and assessment;

• Working on the preparation of the material for activities related to H&S Training and field coaching, including competency assessment, training programs for behavioral change, human factor analysis and assessment;

• Support in development of Environmental Management and Health and Safety Systems according to ISO standards;

• Support the team in the writing of high-quality reports to meet the needs of our clients and regulatory requirements.
 

The Ideal Candidate has:

• Master’s degree in environmental engineering, Environmental sciences or other relevant disciplines;

• Familiarity with EHS regulations and industrial hygiene basics;

• Willingness to travel and to work in an international environment, curiosity, flexibility, team player attitude, accuracy in the delivery;

• Good knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);

• Proficiency in English, written and spoken (level B2/C1). Knowledge of another European language will be considered a plus
