Starting as a contractor can often be the entry point for joining a reinsurer on a permanent basis later

What you’ll need

• A recognised professional accounting qualification (such as CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA)
• Practical experience in financial statements preparation in a financial services environment
• Direct experience of working in Bermuda's Re/Insurance sector or auditing such entities is an advantage
• Familiarity with US GAAP and Bermuda Monetary Authority reporting requirements is a definite plus
• Well-developed IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills with the ability to cope with new environments
