Role Overview

As an HR Representative, you will collaborate with the local People Business Partner and support EMEA People teams and international contacts to look after operational tasks across the entire HR value chain. You will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to employees and managers at our two Munich office sites, ensuring high-quality service and consistent outstanding team member experience.

Responsibilities:

  • HR Administration: Handle contracts, personnel files, absence tracking, declarations, insurance documents, and support the EIBT program.
  • HR Processes: Support and improve HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Benefits: Coordinate health insurance, local plans, and leave policies; advise employees and leaders.
  • Compliance: Serve as a contact for German social security and regulatory questions.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and communicate employment changes.
  • HR Projects: Contribute to local and international HR initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams to resolve issues and deliver excellent service.
  • Technology: Use Workday and other tools to manage data and improve processes.
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field; alternatively, SHRM-CP/SCP or HR Specialist IHK with relevant professional experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Generalist.
  •  At least 50% of time interfacing with international contacts and employees.
  • At least 1 year of experience with German social security administration or “vorbereitende Gehaltsabrechnung”.
  • In-depth understanding of operational HR processes covering the entire employee lifecycle, with a focus on improving the overall employee experience.
  • Proficiency in managing HR Information Systems (especially Workday), MS Outlook, MS Office Suite to analyze and drive HR processes.
  • Data-driven, well-organized, and structured approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow up in a timely manner.
  • Business proficiency in German and English is a must.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cultural Awareness and Sensitivity: understanding and respecting cultural differences in managing a diverse workforce and ensuring inclusive practices.
  • Sound knowledge of German labor laws and regulations to ensure procedures remain compliant across different regions.
  • Understanding of labor laws of other European countries is beneficial.
