Eva Care Group is looking for a Human Resources Manager who practices and meets objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality and productivity. The Human Resources Manager will provide support to over 1,100 employees located throughout Northern and Southern California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizational Departmental Planning
- Performance Management and Implement Improvement Systems
- Employee On-boarding, Development, Needs assessment, and Training
- Employee Safety, Welfare, Wellness and Health
- Supervise Recruiting and Staffing Efforts
- Employee Relations
- Compensation and Benefits Administration
- Revise Job Requirements and Job Descriptions
- Training Managers and Improving Disciplinary Protocol
- Ensures Legal Compliance by Monitoring and Implementing Applicable Human Resource, Federal and State Requirements
- Conducting Investigations
- Maintains Management Guidelines by Preparing, Updating, and Recommending Human Resource Policies and Procedures.
- Work with in-house Attorneys and Legal Counsel in Regards to Union Matters (CBA negotiations, grievances, etc.)
Education and Experience:
(1) PHR or SPHR is highly preferred.
(2) Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in the field of Liberal Arts (i.e. Business, History, etc.)
(3) Three Years of Experience Leading a Human Resource Department Required
