Job description
Location: PSS – Lisbon (Central), Portugal

Thales Portugal serves a number of countries for various key tasks associated to finance and accounting processes. This business support services center of excellence drives innovation within our internal business processes, cutting through complexity and supporting our external leadership in digitalization.

Main Purpose

You will support managers and employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle, providing guidance on topics like performance, development, engagement, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities as a HR Business Partner:

  •  Support hiring and workforce planning to ensure the right talent is in place.

  • Identify and implement training and development initiatives for teams.

  • Manage performance, talent reviews and career development processes.

  • Advise managers and employees on HR topics, including employee relations.

  • Oversee compensation, payroll support and internal mobility processes.

  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and processes across the employee lifecycle. 

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.

  • Strong communication skills in English (mandatory).

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of core HR processes (performance, compensation, employee relations, talent development).

  • Solid understanding of labour law (preferably Portugal/Spain).

  • Experience with HR systems (e.g. Workday or similar).

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
