Job description

The HR Analyst plays a key role in delivering efficient, data-driven, and employee-centered HR operational services. This position is responsible for analyzing and maintaining employee data, supporting HR processes and employee lifecycle transactions, developing reports and insights, and identifying opportunities to improve operational effectiveness. The role serves as a subject matter resource for HR systems, data integrity, and process optimization, while helping ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

The HR Analyst partners closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, managers, and employees to resolve complex inquiries, support decision-making through reporting and analytics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role leverages HR technology, data analysis, and process expertise to enhance the employee experience, improve service delivery, and ensure accurate and confidential handling of HR information.

HR Processes, Data Management & Employee Lifecycle Analytics

  • Analyze, process, and oversee employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, promotions, transfers, organizational changes, compensation actions, leaves, and terminations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for employee data and HR processes, providing guidance and recommendations to HR stakeholders on transaction requirements and impacts.
  • Monitor employee data quality across HR systems, identify trends and discrepancies, and drive corrective actions to improve accuracy and consistency.
  • Evaluate HR operational processes and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency, scalability, compliance, and the employee experience.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition to ensure seamless execution of employee lifecycle activities and organizational changes.
  • Support workforce-related initiatives, restructures, and organizational changes through effective data management and process coordination.

HR Systems, Reporting & Analytics

  • Serve as a primary administrator and analyst for HR systems, supporting data governance, system functionality, testing, enhancements, and continuous optimization.
  • Lead implementation and ongoing management of HR Shared Services technologies, including ticketing systems, knowledge management resources, service metrics, and self-service capabilities.
  • Lead continuous improvement project to enhance the Recruiting management to Lyric workflow/process.
  • Explore improvement opportunities for invoicing process while partnering with finance, vendors, and HR.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze HR operational dashboards, reports, and metrics to provide actionable insights and support business decisions.
  • Monitor service level agreements (SLAs), case volume trends, and resolution metrics, providing recommendations to improve service delivery and operational performance.
  • Conduct data audits, validation reviews, and root-cause analyses to identify and resolve system, process, or data issues.
  • Support HR system upgrades, testing activities, process redesign efforts, and implementation of new technologies and functionality.
  • Maintain and enhance HR Operations documentation, knowledge articles, process maps, and standard operating procedures to support operational excellence.
  • Manage and maintain HR HUB content, ensuring resources remain accurate, relevant, and employee-focused.

Employee and Manager Support

  • Serve as a trusted HR Operations resource for employees, managers, and HR partners by providing guidance regarding HR systems, data, policies, processes, and programs.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve complex HR operational inquiries, leveraging data and system expertise to identify solutions and address root causes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate issue resolution, improve service delivery, and ensure a consistent employee experience.
  • Identify recurring inquiry trends and recommend process, communication, or system enhancements to reduce friction and increase self-service adoption.
  • Deliver professional, responsive, and confidential support that reinforces trust and engagement across the organization.

Process Improvement, Governance & Compliance

  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing HR operational effectiveness, reducing manual effort, and improving service quality.
  • Analyze operational workflows and recommend process automation opportunities that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing data, validating records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and monitor operational controls that strengthen data integrity, compliance, and risk management.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects involving HR technology, reporting, process optimization, and employee experience improvements.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, compensation, and company information.
  • Perform other HR Operations and analytics-related projects and responsibilities as assigned.
