The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.</span></div><div>The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found <a href="https://apps01.civilservice.louisiana.gov/onestopjobinfo/DisplayJobSpec.aspx?JobCode=163680" target="_blank"><u>here</u></a>.</div><u><strong>Job Duties:</strong></u><ul><li><div style="text-align: justify">Ensures that funds allocated by the Louisiana Housing Corporation and Office of Community Development are used effectively in accordance with the rules and regulations of programs administered by LHC.</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Conducts random and scheduled field examinations to determine compliance with state and federal laws, policies, rules, and regulations. These examinations include review of area median income (AMI) limits, rent calculations, physical conditions, operation procedures, and unit inspections to ensure compliance with program regulations.</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Identifies findings, deficiencies, and/or concerns resulting from monitoring tasks by comparing applications, and/or compliance checklist to supporting documents.</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Trains owner/developers/lenders/project management staff in program requirements and provides technical support in all program areas.</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Sends notices for non-compliance stating measures necessary to meet compliance standards and initiates appropriate remedial action for non-compliance when warranted as directed by Compliance Supervisor.</div></li><li><div style="text-align: justify">Prepares statistical data on standardized reports for Auditors, Board Meetings, and Federal Regulatory Agencies.</div></li></ul><br><div style="text-align: justify"><strong><u>Position- Specific Details:</u></strong></div><strong>Appointment Type</strong>: Probationary or Job Appointment<br><strong>Career Progression: </strong> As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a Housing Finance Specialist 1,2 or 3 depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant(s).
