Job Description

Operational Support

 

• Assist in overseeing daily housekeeping operations and staff assignments.

• Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean and well-maintained.

• Monitor cleaning supplies and linen inventory, reporting shortages or needs to the supervisor.

Supervision & Training

• Support training of housekeeping staff in cleaning techniques, safety standards, and company policies.

• Provide guidance and feedback to team members to maintain quality standards.

• Step in as acting supervisor when required.

Guest Service

• Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping.

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.

Health & Safety

• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns immediately.

Administrative Tasks

• Assist with duty rosters and shift planning.

• Record staff attendance and report to Housekeeping Supervisor.

• Help in preparing daily housekeeping reports.
