Position Summary

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our facility. This position helps ensure a comfortable and sanitary environment where our residents can thrive and feel at home.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility, including resident areas, common spaces, and grounds.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and fixtures.
• Replenish restroom and housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Remove trash and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Operate and maintain housekeeping and janitorial equipment safely and effectively.
• Report maintenance concerns, repairs, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting is a plus.
