Hotel Chef de Partie

Job title: Chef de Partie

Salary: 20,000 GBP

Location: Keswick, Cumbria

Type of contract: Permanent

Workplace description: The hotel has 34 bedrooms, an AA accredited, one rosette restaurant with open display kitchen, cocktail bar, and substantial lounges; and a separate pub. This is a modern food-led hotel with some of the best accommodation around.

Main duties and responsibilities: To report to the Head Chef
To provide our guests with food of a high standard of preparation and presentation.
To work alongside the Head Chef, Sous Chef and full brigade.
To keep the kitchen clean and tidy at all times, be friendly and approachable to colleagues and guests.
To provide an efficient and professional service at all times

Essential criteria: The successful candidate must be well driven and willing to help the kitchen achieve its already high standards. They must be confident in running a section within the kitchen and happy to partake in the menu planning and dish production. The right candidate needs to have a strong team spirit and be able to work within a happy small team.

Accommodation provided: Yes

Charge for accommodation: 195 GBP per month
