We’re looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join our team, focusing on selling premium hospitality experiences across six of our flagship events within our Arts & Entertainment and Tennis portfolio.

The Hospitality Department is unlike any other, responsible for delivering outstanding experiences and generating revenue across some of London’s most iconic events. With a diverse range of live experiences spanning music, sport, culinary, and festive events, our team curates unforgettable hospitality moments for a wide variety of audiences.

Our current portfolio includes:

  • Summer events: Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic, Taste of London, Hampton Court Palace Festival, and Blenheim Palace Festival

  • Winter events: Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and Glide at Battersea Power Station

  • Year-round experience: Lift 109 at Battersea Power Station

This is a 360° sales role encompassing lead generation, proactive sales, client account management, and hands-on delivery of hospitality at events. From Michelin-star dining packages at the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic to bespoke Christmas party packages at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, no two days are the same!

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a genuine passion for live events and hospitality sales

  • Bring at least 3/4 + years of proven sales experience, ideally in events, hospitality, or a related industry

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

  • Experience in managing and leadership

  • Be confident managing the full sales cycle and building strong, lasting client relationships

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and high-performing team, working on some of the UK’s most loved events.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Maximise all potential revenue to achieve/exceed event targets.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

  • Achieve and maintain high activity (over 40 dials a day – 5 effective calls)

  • Achieve agreed weekly and monthly sales targets

  • Manage a sales team to ensure team targets are hit for each event

  • Arrange and attend meetings with potential new clients

  • Proactively lead source from all other mediums

  • Manage, develop and manage sales database including record of key contacts and sales communication

  • Work closely with members of the sales team to develop ideas and approaches

  • Report on sales activity and sales results on demand

  • Contribute ideas to develop the event – read industry press, exploit knowledge to spot new opportunities.

  • Ability to manipulate/translate visitor-marketing strategies/plans into exhibitor sales benefits.

  • Maintain and update floor plan/sales sheets

  • Ability to write sales mailers to the database

  • Liaise with other internal departments/functions – marketing, operations, conferences, accounts, PR etc.

  • Ability to act confident and articulate in meetings and at networking events

  • Ensure re-booking process is implemented to achieve required targets

  • Retain integrity of events by adhering to set processes and maintaining high yield

  • Develop an in depth understanding of the market landscape

  • Contribute ideas to develop the event – read trade press, knowledge to spot new opportunities

  • Execute a consistent and well thought out sales communication schedule

  • Able to take a brief, manage your own agenda and deliver on it without the need for reminders

  • Ensure all agreed processes are adhered to and implemented with excellent attention to detail

  • Create a customer care programme to maintain strong relationships, ensure excellent on-site delivery, and drive show loyalty

You will have the following strengths

  • Demonstrable/established experience in sales/ event sales

  • High IT competency; knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office programmes

  • Excellent telesales experience and results

  • Experience in sales planning

  • Experience in managing sales teams

  • Organised with high attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Commercially aware yet customer-focused

  • Able to work and deliver under pressure

  • Ability to deliver results through others

  • Initiative and solution-led thinking

Working Conditions:

  • The work location is Chiswick Park, London.

  • This is a permanent contract.

  • Working hours are 9-5 pm.

  • Occasional weekend work where you may be required to travel to events, such as Taste of London or Hampton Court Palace Festival.

  • Occasional outside of event travel, there will be a requirement to travel for meetings as part of the role.
