We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a Home Health position providing skilled care to patients in their homes in the Chambersburg, PA area. This position is eligible for a $5,000 first year success bonus to reward the accomplishment of key achievements during your first year!

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver skilled, patient-centered Occupational Therapy services in the home health setting under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

  • Guide and educate patients and caregivers through individualized therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities using progressive, patient-focused treatment approaches.

  • Instruct patients and family members on the proper use of orthotic and prosthetic equipment, including training on customized adaptive and assistive devices designed to support independence and improve daily living skills.

  • Think critically, solve problems in real time, and ensure thorough, compliant EMR documentation

  • Work independently, but never alone

  • Travel to patient homes within assigned territory

COTA Qualifications

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, COTA license in the state you work

  • One year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care

  • Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations
