History Teacher

We are looking for a History Teacher for a High School in Qingyuan. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in September 2026.

About the school

The school is located in North Vanke City, Shijiao Town, Qingcheng District, Qingyuan City. The international department serves students from Senior 1 to Senior 3 (ages 15–18) and offers a bilingual and globally focused curriculum in small to medium-sized classes (15–30 students).

Job details

• Teach the subject of History to high school students, ensuring lessons are engaging and aligned with international education standards
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to support student learning
• Collaboratively teach with local or foreign educators, contributing to curriculum development
• Monitor and assess students’ academic progress and support improvement where needed
• Provide feedback to students and their parents or guardians
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Participate in academic meetings, training sessions, and school events
• Approximately 24 teaching periods per week (40 minutes each), including office hours

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in History, Social Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in the subject area
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or a teaching license required
• Passion for education and cross-cultural communication
