Job Description:

To Design and maintain web site with efficiency and ease. Web Designer will be involved in the Design and Development of multiple Web applications. Work will involve very high level of creativity and application of tools to convert ideas in to web designs

Position Responsibilities:

Develop and support functional and appealing web applications based on usabilityProvide website maintenance and enhancementsUse a combination of markup languages to write web pagesCreate quality mock-ups and prototypes on tight timelinesDesign Flyers and Banners as per need.Assist back-end developers in coding and troubleshootingCreate cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platformsMaintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product's interfaceStay up-to-date on emerging technologiesPromote usability best practices.

Desired Skills and Expertise:

Ability to create advance layout using HTML and CSS.Solid understanding of full web technology stack such as page load optimization, HTTP,Cookies, Asset Loading, CDN etc.Should be able to develop both Web and Graphic design requirements.CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Less, Responsive UI)Exposure to OOP JavaScript frameworks (Backbone, Angular, Knockout)Experience with single page web app design/frameworksUnderstanding of web service protocols (REST)In addition, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge, is a must.Candidates should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems such as Drupal.Experience with responsive and adaptive design is also a plus
