High School English Teacher

We are looking for a High School English Teacher for an International School based in Shanghai. This position is available starting in the upcoming 2026–27 academic year in August 2026.

Job details

• Teach English lessons to high school students utilizing IB framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English or related field
• Valid teaching certification / license in English or Language Arts
• Previous teaching experience with ESL students
• 2 years of IB-DP English B teaching experience preferred
• Previous experience teaching the IB curriculum preferred
