Job description
HGV I drivers needed for our Client based In Colchester.

We are the preferred supplier for this client and are needing 8 drivers.

Working Monday to Friday start times from 07.30am.

The Role:

This is a great opportunity for a Class I Driver who wants to join an expanding and established company.

You will be responsible for checking the vehicle, and its load safety. All paperwork must be filled in and kept with all due care and attention. You will be expected to have a good understanding of the UK driving regulations, and working time directive.

You will be responsible for picking up and delivering materials throughout the UK. You will have a track record of providing high quality driving and excellent customer service

To be successful in this role you will need to hold a full Class I licence and up to date Driver CPC, although additional training will be provided as appropriate to ensure this remains updated.

You will need to have:

  • A full driving licence with a C licence entitlement
  • Completed Driver CPC
  • Good customer service skills
  • A flexible working approach
  • A good geographical knowledge of the UK road network
  • No more than 3 points on your licence
Working Monday to Friday, Basic 50 hours per week, overtime paid after 50 hours.

Weekly Late Bonus – This is paid as long as the driver turns up to work on time

Weekly Driver Bonus – This is paid as long as the driver keeps the lorry clean inside & out

Daily Subsistence – Is paid for each day attended

Monthly Sick Bonus – This is paid as long the driver doesn’t haven’t any time off sick during the month.
