Job description

Eram Talent is seeking experienced professionals to conduct Heavy Equipment Assessments. The assessor will be responsible for evaluating the competencies of heavy equipment operators to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of heavy equipment operators’ competencies, including practical and theoretical evaluations.
  • Ensure assessments adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessment results and provide detailed reports.
  • Provide constructive feedback to operators to help improve their skills and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with the training team to assist in the development and updating of assessment materials.
  • Assist in quality assurance and compliance audits related to operator competency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Minimum of 5 years Industrial experience of specific role.
  • 3 years of experience as instructor/teacher.
  • Academic and Professional Qualifications (minimum)
  • Technical qualifications or diploma in the relevant craft/subject.
  • Certified in specific area of expertise:
  • Heavy Equipment (Backhoe- Bulldozer- Forklift- Wheel loader- Backhoe loader- … etc, Cranes, and/or Rigging.
  • Knowledge of Training/Assessment development would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in assessment or evaluation roles preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation including Backhoe, Bulldozer, Forklift, Grader, Wheel loader, Skid loader, Backhoe loader, Sideboom, and Telehandler.
  • Familiarity with industry safety standards and certification processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and maintain professionalism during assessments.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in heavy equipment operation and assessment are preferred.
