Heavy duty Wrecker Driver

GLOBAL PACIFIC SUPPORT is inviting applications for the position of Heavy Duty Wrecker Driver. In this critical role, you will operate heavy-duty tow trucks to transport oversized vehicles and equipment safely. Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to towing requests, ensuring the safe recovery of oversized vehicles and challenging loads.
• Secure and transport a variety of large vehicles and equipment utilizing heavy-duty towing techniques.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on wrecker vehicles to guarantee operational readiness.
• Provide top-tier customer service during towing operations, addressing client needs effectively.
• Document service details, including miles driven, condition of the vehicle, and customer interactions.
• Follow all company policies as well as local, state, and federal towing regulations.
• Assist in the loading and unloading processes of heavy-duty vehicles when required.
• Continuously update knowledge of best practices and advancements within the towing industry.

Requirements

• Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy-duty towing.
• Demonstrated experience as a Heavy Duty Wrecker Driver or in a related towing role.
• In-depth knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle operations and safe towing practices.
• Proven ability to drive safely and responsibly, with an exemplary driving history.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate under pressure.
• Physically able to handle heavy lifting and secure large equipment safely.
• Flexible availability for varied work shifts, including emergency on-call duties.
• Effective communication skills for providing high-quality customer service.
• Basic understanding of heavy vehicle mechanics is an advantage.
